Michael King will introduce you to the latest training innovation – OctoCore. The Eight Directions of Control workout reveals the complexity of full-body movement using the OctoCore training tool, creating a truly multidimensional movement experience. Through multi-directional resistance and spiral motion, this unique training method enhances coordination, balance, and smooth transitions in and out of fundamental exercise positions.

We are honored to host Michael King and provide the younger generation of enthusiasts with the opportunity to learn from one of the world’s leading contemporary Pilates teachers. In this in-depth Friday workshop, he will present Power and Precision, a studio-based Pilates session. Strength and precision are demanding Pilates components, and Michael will showcase them in his signature style through Reformer practice. For the first time in Slovenia, he will also introduce the Spinefitter – both as an innovative training tool on the Reformer and as part of Matwork. This is a rare chance to experience firsthand what true Pilates Studio work really means – directly from the best.

In this Reformer masterclass, Michael will explore the contrasts and synergies between the Pilates Method and fitness training. You will experience both the foundations of the traditional approach and the fitness-inspired variations within a single session. He will present a precise sequence of exercises with dynamic, repetitive movement – ideal for Pilates teachers working with diverse groups and training goals. This fresh perspective offers a new way of understanding Pilates technique, fitness applications, and how to integrate them in practice.

This Mat and Pilates Ball session creates seamless connections between classical and contemporary Pilates variations, offering participants a fresh training experience. The Pilates Ball provides additional support, variety, and movement precision, making it an excellent tool for posture correction and self-awareness. The practice is calm, precise, and challenging, yet accessible to everyone. It could even be described as therapeutic Pilates training.
