Damjan Čanžek is the founder and owner of MyGym and KDU Jeklo, where he works as the head coach for Olympic weightlifting and guides his athletes to international success at major competitions. He is an international coach and lecturer with more than 20 years of experience, a member of the expert committees of the EWF and IWF, and an international referee who also officiated at the Olympic Games in Paris 2024.

Do you want to learn one of the most effective ways to develop strength and explosiveness?
At the Olympic weightlifting workshop, we will learn together the basics of the pull, snatch and clean and jerk; technically demanding, but extremely useful exercises used by both top athletes and recreational athletes.
In one hour, you will learn why correct methodology is key to safety, faster progress and maximum results. Through practical exercises, you will learn how Olympic lifting increases your strength, speed and stability, and why it is an indispensable part of preparation in various sports. Olympic weightlifting is one of the oldest IO sports, but it has long been no longer used only for competitors in this sports branch. Today, its technical elements are used by a large number of athletes from other sports, as well as recreational athletes, for the proper physical development of adolescents and later as basic preparation for developing maximum strength, speed, explosive power, coordination, and balance.
